Case Management Services that assist an individual and their support network to identify, select, obtain and coordinate paid and natural supports as needed to enhance an individual's independence, integration and productivity in their community.

Centers for Independent Living are organizations specifically designated to serve people with all types of disabilities with information, referral, counseling and advocacy types of services. Several centers have developed a training service for people who choose to direct their own services, as well as, a payroll agent service.

Children's Residential Agencies typically recruit, license and support foster care families to support children (with or without disabilities) in need of care away from their family homes.

Home Health Agencies are medical service organizations that usually provide nursing care to individuals in their homes. Personal assistance and therapy types of services can be provided in addition to other medically prescribed tasks.

Independent Contractors are individuals and occasionally families who have affiliated to provide personal assistance services to individuals they often know or a family member or they market themselves to others. They manage their own payroll, tax obligations, insurance and bill Medicaid directly for the services they provide.

Licensed Day and Residential Service Providers are licensed by SRS to provide services to people with developmental disabilities. They typically provide residential services, day and/or employment services and case management.

Limited License DD Service Providers are licensed by SRS to provide services for only 1 to 2 people with developmental disabilities. They typically provide residential and day services.

Miscellaneous Youth Service Agencies are organizations that provide paid staff to perform support services to children under the age of 18. These organizations typically provide supervision or support for community activities under Supportive Home Care.

Payroll Agents are individuals or small corporations that assist individuals and/or families with the management of payroll and billing types of activities when they choose to direct their own support services.

Vendors are typically durable medical equipment vendors who may sell personal lifts, bath chairs, augmentative communication devices, etc. that may be purchased with DD service funds.
